I'm an Applied Scientist at Microsoft, I currently work on Health AI creating methods to protect Personal Health Information (PHI). Previous to this, I worked developing NLP projects with massive amounts of data to help people find the best deals when shopping online. I also spent some years doing researchs in Computer Vision applied to Person/Vehicle ReID and Multi-Object Tracking.
Working on Azure Health AI team with NLP to detect, surrogate and protect (DeID and Differential Privacy) for PHI data.
I worked on BING developing machine learning and NLP models for shopping experiences. Including user intenetion narrowing, products and coupons recommendations and receipt expansion and understanding.
I worked on BING creating new ways to engage and help users by conversational search. Used Machine Learning and Natural Processing methods over huge quantities of data for text generation. My project was developed under supervision of Gord Lueck and Yumao Lu.
I was member of the Visual Informatics Laboratory and I was advised by Helio Pedrini. I collaborated with Microsoft Research Asia (Cuiling Lan and Zhizheng Zhang). My research projects included Person Re-Identification and Multi-Object Tracking.
